Our Staff Our teachers are carefully selected and bring to BCAMP’s program a rich background in both education and experience. All of our teachers are qualified and experienced in their respective fields (Montessori training or early childhood development). Monthly, our teachers have a two-hour training session which keeps them aware of the latest early childhood information.
They are knowledgeable, loving, nurturing, and ready to guide your student to excel here at our school.
The entire staff is trained and certified in CPR, First Aid, and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
Owner and Director  Mrs. Amy Fish is the Director and Owner of BCAMP. Mrs. Fish holds a degree from Texas A&M and holds a Texas State Teacher’s Certification in early childhood thru 12 grade in various subjects. She is also Montessori Certified through the North American Montessori Association for ages 3-6. Mrs. Fish taught over the previous 10 years in grades K, 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. In August 2005 Mrs. and Mr. Fish opened BCAMP with 2 classrooms and 18 students, and they have enjoyed watching the school grow to 7 classrooms and 80 students! Mrs. Fish has also three children who attend the center.
Faculty  Mrs. Annie Blanton is one of our Infant Room teachers. She has been employed at this location for over 22 years! She works the afternoon shift in our infant room. She has two sons, a granddaughter and a grandson.
Ms. Tracy Powell works in our Toddler room and has a great attitude for learning! She brings joy to our center and has a wonderful time spending her days with our Wobblers classroom. Mrs. Judith Thomas is an assistant in our young Toddler class. She has a great, upbeat personality and does a wonderful job caring for the children. Mrs. Bushra Baig is also an assistant in our Wobblers classroom. She is the morning teacher and works diligently to lead circle and reading time with our Toddlers. Mrs. Sharon Massey is teacher of our two-year-olds and has a great passion for teaching! She is a great addition to our team and has two children of her own. Mrs. Massey has many years experience working in a child care setting. Mrs. Alicia Donley assists Mrs. Massey in the two-year old classroom. She has a young son of her own and enjoys working where he attends preschool. Ms. Rebecca Dossey will now be the three-year-olds teacher. She has much experience working with this age group and has a great energy that allows our threes to enjoy the best education possible! Ms. Rita Ferreira is our afternoon three-year-old teacher. She is currently in school earning her degree in early childhood education and has a passion for her position here at BCAMP! Ms. Krystal Butler works with our four-year-old students this year. This class is very focused on the academics and Ms. Butler is doing a wonderful job getting her students ready for Pre-K! Ms. Jennifer Stokes has ten years of experience working in a childcare setting and does a wonderful job working with our Pre-K students. She brings a great energy to our school and a passion for teaching that shines through to her students. We are very proud of our Pre-K program. Ms. Erin Wahlen works with our Pre-K classroom in the afternoon. Ms. Wahlen is working on obtaining her degree in Early Childhood Education and is an integral part of our program here at BCAMP. Ms. Amy Halliburton now works with our school aged students and also cooks lunch for our school. She is a great asset to BCAMP and she has a great time working with the older children. Mr. Chance Bradford is our after-school teacher. He has the important job of transporting the children to BCAMP after their long day at school. He also is a great part of our summer camp here at Bedford Christian Academy.
Office Mrs. Sidney Bailey is our Assistant Director. She has several years experience working with young children as well as experience in the public schools working with sixth grade. Mrs. Bailey holds a degree in Middle School Education from North Carolina State University and seven years of experience working in a preschool setting.
