Management Team Our teachers are carefully selected and bring to BCAMP’s program a rich background in both education and experience. All of our teachers are qualified and experienced in their respective fields (Montessori training or early childhood development). Monthly, our teachers have a two-hour training session which keeps them aware of the latest early childhood information.
They are knowledgeable, loving, nurturing, and ready to guide your student to excel here at our school.
The entire staff is trained and certified in CPR, First Aid, and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
Owner Mrs. Amy Fish is the owner of Bedford Christian Academy. Mrs. Fish holds a degree from Texas A&M and a Texas State Teacher’s Certification in early childhood though grade 12 in various subjects. She is also Montessori certified through the North American Montessori Association for ages 3 to 6. Mrs. Fish has taught over the previous 10 years in grades K-1 and 6-9. In August 2005, Mr. and Mrs. Fish opened Bedford Christian Academy and Montessori Preschool with two classrooms and eighteen students. They have really enjoyed watching their school grow tremendously! Mrs. Fish has three children who also attend the school.
Director  Mrs. Sidney Bailey is our Center Director. She has experience in the public schools as a sixth grade teacher as well as her extensive time in a preschool setting. Mrs. Bailey graduated with honors from North Carolina State University and holds a degree in Education. She also has over ten years of experience working in the early childhood arena.
Assistant Director  Mrs. Krystal Butler is the Assistant Director of Bedford Christian Academy and Montessori Preschool. She began with our school in 2006 as the four-year-old teacher and her amazing teaching performance has allowed her to manage our preschool program.

A former preschool teacher, Amy has a Bachelor's Degree and is Texas State Certified to teach at all levels, with many years of classroom experience at elementary, junior high, and high school levels. |
